Aldine Independent School District, Texas, selects eSchoolPLUS 4.0, the Next-Generation Student Information System

Responsive DesignAldine Independent School District (ISD), Texas, has selected eSchoolPLUS 4.0 from SunGard K-12 Education to manage student data and support student achievement. The next-generation student information system, eSchoolPLUS 4.0 is a forward-thinking solution for student information management that helps educators directly and positively impact student achievement.

Aldine ISD, which has a vision of producing the nation’s best, prepares each student academically and socially to be a critical thinker, problem solver, and responsible and productive citizen. Aldine ISD’s growing enrollment eclipsed 70,000 students in fall 2015 and is expected to increase by three percent a year for the next five years.

This decision concludes a detailed 16-month selection process, during which the district reviewed numerous proposals, evaluated various demonstrations, participated in multiple product review sessions, and interviewed many school districts. Candice Moore, Aldine ISD’s executive director of student services and PEIMS coordinator, said eSchoolPLUS 4.0 is the best choice for the district’s student information system. “During the evaluation process it became clear that eSchoolPLUS 4.0 will provide Aldine ISD with a very scalable, flexible, and customizable solution built on industry standards. SunGard K-12 Education, which has dedicated support for Texas school districts’ state reporting needs, works with school districts in a way that promotes mutually beneficial success,” she said. “Aldine ISD is confident that eSchoolPLUS 4.0 is the right student information system for Aldine ISD and its stakeholders.”

Adam Eberle, SunGard K-12 Education’s chief commercial officer, welcomes Aldine to the family of SunGard K-12 Education customers. “Aldine ISD is an outstanding school district that is very focused on the success of its students,” he said. “We’re honored that Aldine ISD has chosen eSchoolPLUS 4.0 to support its student achievement initiatives.”
