Cincinnati Public Schools selects BusinessPLUS Finance and Human Resources Management System
Cincinnati Public Schools, Ohio, has selected SunGard K-12 Education’s BusinessPLUS to help manage critical financial, procurement, payroll, and personnel functions. After a competitive and rigorous review process, which took several months, the district chose the SunGard K-12 financial and human resources solution to provide robust support for managing district business processes and informed decision making.
Jennifer M. Wagner, Cincinnati Public Schools’ treasurer and chief financial officer, said BusinessPLUS will support the district in continuing to meet its goal of being fiscally responsible to its taxpayers while providing a high-quality education for all students. “Our team is excited to move forward with implementing an integrated application that meets our financial and human resource software needs,” says Wagner. “BusinessPLUS was the software that met the most of our functional requirements at the most economical price.”
Part of SunGard K-12 Education’s PLUS 360 suite, BusinessPLUS can be tailored to a school district’s unique needs and processes. Accounting, procurement, human resources, and payroll functions are easily managed through customizable workflows and notifications. A dashboard provides insights into budgetary performance, employee statistics, substantial purchases, and much more. BusinessPLUS also offers web-based self-service options for employees, vendors, and job applicants, helping districts operate more efficiently and do more with less.
Adam Eberle, SunGard K-12 Education’s chief commercial officer, is thrilled to welcome Cincinnati Public Schools to the family of SunGard K-12 Education customers. “Cincinnati Public Schools is a well-respected, well-managed school district that emphasizes efficient, effective, and transparent business operations,” he says. “We’re honored the district has chosen BusinessPLUS for robust support in managing its critical business operations.”
