SunGard K-12 Launches New Magazine, the K-12 Leader
SunGard K-12 is pleased to announce the official launch of its new magazine, the K-12 Leader. The first issue will be released on Thursday, January 26, 2017. The digital version of the magazine will be available on The K-12 Leader’s website, thek12leader.com. With a vision to inspire and provoke thought and conversation in the K-12 space, this magazine was developed by the team at SunGard K-12 with content from experts in the field, primarily K-12 district leaders. The K-12 Leader magazine will be digitally released on a quarterly basis to subscribers, and will be available in limited printed issues at various K-12 industry events.
According to Adam Eberle, Chief Commercial Officer, “It is really exciting for us to bring together leaders in our industry to share their perspectives on topics that matter most. Our goal is for other leaders to learn from these perspectives and start a conversation for all to share their thoughts. It truly becomes about collaboration.”
In addition to the magazine, the K-12 Leader will also be a leading resource for monthly podcasts and videos that can be accessed on thek12leader.com that expand on the topics within the magazine. Since this project is focused on insights and idea sharing, the K-12 Leader team will host a quarterly forum that will offer the opportunity for K-12 leaders to network and learn from one another. The first forum is scheduled for February 23rd in Bethlehem, PA, with the keynote speaker, Randy Ziegenfuss, Ed.D., superintendent at Salisbury School District. More regional events are being scheduled across the country, and details will be provided on thek12leader.com.
Joel Hames, Vice President of Product said, “We’re excited about this opportunity to share what our team has learned from the leaders featured in The K-12 Leader’s first issue, and also bring together district leaders across the United States. We believe that this project will have a significant impact on the K-12 space, and the true spirit of collaboration will lead to new best practices and future technological breakthroughs.”
The K-12 Leader will bring to the forefront topics that matter most to district leaders. If you have topics or would like to contribute to the magazine, contact Lori Clark, Marketing Manager at SunGard K-12, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
