SunGard K-12 Partners with REMC to Help Local Michigan School Districts with Student Information System
SunGard K-12 is proud to announce its partnership with REMC Association of Michigan (REMC). eSchoolPLUS, a forward-thinking solution that helps educators directly and positively impact student achievement, is now an awarded REMC SAVE vendor for student information systems.
“This resource is a way for the REMC Association to provide Michigan schools a way to save money, and therefore get additional resources to students,” said Sue Schwartz, executive director of the REMC Association. “We want every school in Michigan to have access to up-to-date data and information that support student achievement.” Through REMC’s partnership and license agreement with SunGard K-12, eSchoolPLUS is available to all licensed K-12 school districts within the state of Michigan.
REMC accepted SunGard K-12’s eSchoolPLUS to the SAVE Bid Project, a service for schools of Michigan that provides large volume bid prices on educational resources. According to Kurt Springs, SunGard K-12 Director of National Sales, “REMC carried out an exhaustive evaluation process in order to identify the best vendors and products to suit the needs of Michigan schools. SunGard K-12 is delighted to once again be selected and recognized as an industry leading solution. We are also looking forward to further supporting our existing Michigan customers and welcoming many additional schools.”
